Postgraduate Centre and Funding Office and Office for Postgrad Studies
The Postgraduate Centre and Funding Office, together with the Office for Postgraduate Studies at UCT gives personalised guidance to students. They serve as a supportive hub for everything from academic and professional needs to funding support.
These offices share information on training, workshops and extracurricular activities that aid your academic growth and personal well-being. Guidance on fees and funding is also given by the office, and it manages many aspects of the application and renewal process.
The Postgraduate Centre and Funding Office also provides a communal meeting and workspace. This includes access to computers and the Blue Desk, a one-stop information desk dedicated to postgraduates.
Our libraries are more than just books and journals. UCT’s libraries offer Wi-Fi access and over 400 computers. There is also self-service checkout; copy, print and scan facilities; quiet study rooms and 24-hour study spaces.
The UCT Libraries Special Collections contain printed and audio-visual materials on African studies and other specialised subjects. Our collection of African film is among the biggest in the world, with over 3 000 films available.
