If you’re a first-time visitor to the UCT online admissions website, you will need to create a new account. The only requirement for creating a new account is to have a valid email address that is not shared with another UCT applicant that you monitor regularly.
There are 10 steps in the online application process:
Personal details – you will need to upload a copy of your South African ID or passport.
Programme of study – at this stage you will need supporting documentation such as a CV, non-UCT transcript, motivation for your choice of study, and proof of English proficiency if required.
Secondary school details
Tertiary education details
Parent/guardian and fee-payer details
Submit – once the application is submitted, it cannot be changed online. Changes can only be made by contacting the Admissions Office via email: email@example.com or phone: +27 (0)21 650 2128.
