Pre-registration

As an international student, you will need to go through a pre-registration process once you’ve received an offer of admission.

This process will require verification of your immigration-related documents (passport, visa and medical aid) and tuition fee payments.

These will be captured and uploaded to the students’ record system at the International Academic Programmes Office (IAPO). Once pre-registration is complete, you can proceed to academic registration and course enrolment.

Pre-registration will only be processed online through UCT’s PeopleSoft Student Administration Self Service via service requests (SR). Download our Pre-Reg Student Guide for details on this step-by-step process.

Important note: It is no longer possible to complete pre-registration via email. Requests received via email will be re-directed to submit a SR to complete this process.

More information on registration can be found here.
