Funding Support

Postgraduate study at UCT requires significant investment. But there are options to help you manage the costs.

This support comes from scholarships, bursaries, part-time employment, personal student loans, savings and family support.

You should start your funding search the year before you expect to register – as much as 12 months in advance. That means you should begin finding funding in the year before you start your studies.

To help you manage the process, we guide you through how to apply for the most common funding opportunities.

We also cover how to manage your funding. This includes how to receive your award, how to pay UCT fees and how to renew your funding.
